Overview

ItemIcon Wealth RUBY

Ruby / Garnet

Much like VVIP Lucky Wheel, the VVIP Lucky Crate is seasonal, and prizes are rotated every month, often when the former is off-season. There are 10 available prizes, of which 9 are main prizes that can range from permanent rare weapons to temporary rare items (such as character costumes like in CF West). There's a Mysterious Box that contains additional prizes not listed in the 10 advertised prizes, which players can examine to see what they can get from it.

To open this crate, players can purchase Ruby, which acts as key to open one single crate. Players can open up to 10 crates at a time, and they can skip crate opening animation with a click to make the process faster. Much like the normal Black Market, a Lucky Gauge is present, this time with 500 points to fill. Opening a crate guaranteed one Lucky Point, and players can randomly earn more while opening crates, the more crates opened at once the more Lucky Points can be gained. Lucky Points are reset when a permanent prize is won. If a player is unlucky enough to win nothing after filling up 500 points, their next spin is guaranteed to win a random permanent prize, and the gauge will be reset.

Won prizes will be moved to a Temporary Storage. From here, players can choose to receive desired prizes to their inventory or dismantle unwanted prizes into Dismantle Point . All prizes can be dismantled, although filler prizes usually only return by 1 point. Not applicable some functional items won inside the Mysterious Box.

Additionally, there is the Lucky Crate Shop that features all permanent prizes on sale, which players can spend Dismantle Points to purchase directly, should they fail to win what they want from the crate. This means with enough crates opened, players will be able to collect all prizes they want. Note that each prize can only be exchanged once, this is to prevent accidental duplicated purchases.

Bugs

There are some issues after its release.

  • Functional items received from the Mysterious Box can't be dismantled for points. They can be selected when choosing "Dismantle All", but will remain in the Temporary Storage after players confirm their option, leaving them no way to dismantle these items. This bug also happens with VVIP Lucky Wheel.
  • Any players who attempt to purchase garnet stone prior its release will crash the game.

Version Differences

  • In CF Philippines, VVIP Lucky Crates change the name to Garnet Lotto.
