Throwing Weapons are, as the name suggests, throwable utilities that are used for strategical, defensive and offensive purposes.

Overview[]

There are three types of Throwing Weapon: A (Grenade), B (Flashbang) and C (Smoke Grenade), which can be equipped all at once in each Bag if the player owns the Grenade Expansion Slot item. Throwing Weapons are lightweight, but they have a hard limit of one unit per type (except the SOHG which can be unstacked to be thrown twice), meaning players will have to be extra careful when using them. Only Grenades are capable of damaging and killing other players, friends or foes alike.

Many special throwable weapons are mode-exclusive and thus can't be obtained by players in normal modes. These includes Decoy Grenade, Mutant Grenade detached from AK47-Knife Fury Beast, Special Grenade detached from M14 EBR-S Black Tortoise, Stunt Grenade (Mutation Knight Mode and Mass Mutation Mode), Grenade-TH (ZM Supply Box).

Despite technically being used by throwing, Throwing Knife isn't classified as Throwing Weapons and instead are classified as Secondary. The BC-Axe Rusty is also technically a throwable weapon but it's classified as Melee as well. Knockback Hammer is also a throwable weapon but likewise classified as Melee instead.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being incapable of inflicting damage, Flashbangs and Smoke Grenades all come with Kill Icons, which went unused for the most part. In the old days, however, there were glitches that can be abused to flashbang-kill opponents, and if executed, the Kill Icon will show up properly. It can be speculated that the included Kill Icons were simply failsafe guard against new hacks that may potentially enable Flashbangs and Smoke Grenades to kill other players.
