QBU-09-Digital Camo is a variant of the QBU-09 sniper rifle.

Overview

The QBU-09-Digital Camo sports a golden digital camouflage paintjob and expanded magazine capacity of 7 rounds (+2).

This gun also features a new drawing animation, which the player now cycles the bolt quickly instead of pulling the whole gun and placing it down, which means a much faster draw speed compared to the old one.

However, the gun strangely deals 97 damage only to the legs, unlike the old QBU-09 which can 1-shot kill at any body part. Fortunately it still has full wallbang and has the same accuracy. It is also still powerful in Mutation Modes.

Advantages

  • Extremely high damage for a sniper rifle.
  • Has 100% full wallbang.
  • Highly accurate at any range (when scoping in).
  • Faster drawing time.
  • Short reload time.

Disadvantages

  • Heavyweight.
  • Slow reload time.
  • Slightly higher but still low magazine capacity (7).
  • Cannot 1-shot kill when shooting at the legs, unlike the original.

Trivia

  • Before its official release, this gun has a gray digital camouflage skin along with the other Digital Camo weapons.
  • Before its draw animation was changed, this was the only weapon from new Digital Camo set that doesn't have any speed improvements. Instead, it adapts the anti-mutant power found on the original QBU-09 before its nerf, meaning it's as powerful as the M82A1 in Mutation Modes.
    • After an update, this gun's draw animation has been changed, instead of pulling out the gun with the handle, the character will simply bolt cycling it, just like most other sniper rifles.
    • Ironically, the new animation means that the QBU-09-Digital Camo has an incorrect mode of firing, since in real life it is a semi-automatic rifle. This makes it similar to the Barrett M82A1, which is bolt action in-game, but semi-automatic in real life.
  • In CF Vietnam, this weapon has different texture as it has lighter gold digital camo paint job on the body; however, the third person view model is still the same.
    • Also, there are more gold-painted details on the weapon and interestingly, most of gold-painted details look just like the beta version of this weapon.
  • In CF Philippines, the QBU-09-Digital Camo is available only for a limited time offer before it got removed permanently.
