Hero Classes

Mechanic Hero is a special male hero character, available in Mass Mutation Mode.

Overview[]

A hero character that uses his own inventions to go up against the mutants threat. Mechanic Hero can attack with either his clawed hand (Press 3) or the XM214 Gatling Arm (Press 1), although the latter can overheat.

Master Hero Mode X[]

He can summon and place down a Sentry Gun (press F) that automatically targets and shoot mutants (200 damage/shot plus stunning them slightly), which lasts about 18 seconds before exploding and dealing additional damage to nearby mutants (it'll also explode after three attacks from mutants). The G skill will let him materialize an Arcane Grenade from his left arm and throw it forward, dealing a great amount damages. This grenade nullifies all of mutants' Evolution Point when they're killed, and revert Terminator / Supreme Terminator back to Berserk Level to make them less threatening. Additionally, the grenade can also neutralize Evil Terminator's Fireball attack, which is useful for defending a group of soldiers against immanent death.

Mutant Chase Mode[]

Uniquely in Mutant Chase Mode, Mechanic Hero can still place Sentry Gun, but the keybind has been moved to G as the Gatling Penetration skill has taken the F keybind which can improve the penetration damage of XM214 Gatling Arm.

Technical Differences[]

Top Supreme Hero

Available by reaching Level 10 in Ability gameplay or receiving Top Supreme Hero attribute, Mechanic Hero at this state can use the Blaster Sentry Gun skill which can block-aim a targeted mutant from far distance and be able to shoot through-wall once targeted, furthermore eject rocket ammo if aiming at the target in 5 second.

However, the Sentry Gun only lasts for 20 seconds. The skill's cooldown time is 26 seconds, which players can be vulnerable to mutants' approach when having to wait for 6 seconds to set up another Sentry Gun.

Character Skins[]

Woman

Mechanic Woman Hero is an alternative functional item for Mechanic Hero. The item changes players to the female counterpart with her sword. She has her own purple Sentry Gun and a separated Gatling Gun-Wild Shot instead of one attached to the arm, and she summons the Arcane Grenade much faster with her hand, giving her an edge over the normal Mechanic Hero. She also has additional 500 HP and attack damage (+150 for primary attack, +300 for secondary attack).

Trivia[]

This is the first Hero character added to Master Hero Mode X that uses ranged attack, more so that he actually has two ranged weapons to use with appropriate cooldown. Due to this reason, Mechanic Hero quickly became players' favorite choice, as they could easily solo-defend at various chokepoints and score tons of kills before going down, or parkouring around and throw mutants off their trail with the Arcane Grenade.
The design of his XM214 is based of the charged up version of the Gatling Gun-Wild Shot Abyss Blue. Strangely, its firing sound is reused from KAC ChainSAW. Meanwhile, his Sentry gun is simply a recolored version of the Sentry Gun used in Defense Mode, down to all animation and sound effect. However, his Blaster Sentry Gun has been given a new model.
During beta tests, Mechanical Hero can hold two Sentry Guns and after killing a certain number of mutants combined with the Fatal Blow attribute (from Random Buff gameplay), the Sentry Gun became dangerous and more powerful, making mutants unable to get close to him. For balancing purpose, it was later restricted that he could only place one Sentry Gun and it is no longer strengthened by any attribute; however, the Last Survivor attribute can still increase the damage.
On January 2025 update in CF China, his Sentry Gun's firepower has been decreased from 200 to 125, but this was later reverted back after a few days of official release. Presumably, it was due to negative backlash from players.
Initially, Mechanic Hero's Sentry Gun will explode if being hit 4 times by mutants, but later patches reduced its strength to 3, however.
In CF West and CF Vietnam, there is the bug exploitation when a mutant is cured by Mystic Hero at Level 10 (with her Raging Bull-Stimulator Revolver) and turns into Mechanic Hero as his XM214 Gatling Arm will become a devastating weapon that can finish off any mutants and Terminator with only one hit. So far, this issue hasn't been fixed yet.
