Master Hero Mode X ~ Craft is an select-able option for Master Hero Mode X on selected maps in which soldiers can build up defense area using Cube.

Overview[]

This can be considered to be an expanded version of Random Buff in Master Hero Mode X with more tactics and co-operation, along with upgraded HUD similar to Ability variation. Soliders are equipped with 50 Constructing Cubes (press 5 to use) and can build fences, pathways, stairs or defense areas around the map based on gameplay strategy. Picking up Supply Box can replenish 10 Cubes usage count.

Both mutants and soldiers can destroy Constructed Cubes using melee weapon, while mutants can also use Energy Ball skill (selected after being infected) to weaken Cubes from far away. Additionally, Evil Terminator and Outlaw Terminator can use their own special skill to do the same. Remember that these skills requires to be used twice to destroy Cubes instead of once like melee weapon.

It should be noted that soliders can't destroy Cubes by shooting. Soldiers and mutants will get stunned if got hit by melee attack, which can be a disadvantage to run or escape. Hero, Evil and normal Supply Boxes can appear on a higher location if there is any Constructed Cube placed on the fixed Supply Box drop point. Due to the height limit of the map, Void Terminator is still able to teleport to cube-built areas, so soldiers should not take off guard around.

Configuration[]

Soldiers can build many cubes at the same time with some options available (toggle by pressing R or T), which will consume more cube count.

Random Buff[]

Following the upgraded Random Buff system, there will be two attributes presented for both sides, bringing the more intense gameplay. More attributes are introduced to the poll, which are mostly inspired from the Ability sub-mode.

Add-on Attributes[]

Additionally, there are Shrine Alarm spawned at 3:00 and 2:00 on some fixed places in the map that either soldiers or mutants can pick up to equip more attributes (randomly 2 for soldiers, 1 for mutants, and 1 more will be added after transforming into Supreme Heroes or Supreme Terminators). Picking up the Shrine will display red aura around the character which can be seen in the third-person and first-person view.

Trivia[]

  • Upon the first release, Knight and Armored Terminator were brought back exclusively to this mode for a long time. It was later lifted to apply to all Master Hero Mode X variants on the update of Blaze Hero and Viper Terminator.
  • Among the active skills which are available in the attribute list, they have different hotkeys obstruct players from remembering or reaching the finger to the desired button on the keyboard (for example, H for the Escape, WW for Special Agent skill). This issue has been addressed as now all active skills for both soldiers or mutants only require to press Alt to activate.
