MG3 is a general-purpose machine gun in CrossFire.
Description[]
Compared to other machine guns, the MG3 excels in power and accuracy but suffers from high recoil, slow firing rate, and heavyweight. MG3 has high recoil, but it's easier to control than the M60. It has medium drawing/reloading time, faster than M249 Minimi and M60 but slower than M249 Minimi SPW and M240B.

Tips and Tactics[]
- Camping
Due to the heavyweight which will slow down movement speed and reducing accuracy while shooting, camping will be the best tactic suitable for MG3 users.

- In game, MG3 has all of its stats higher than those of M60. The only downside is that MG3 can only be rented for a specific amount of days, unlike M60 which can be purchased permanently with GP.
- In real life, this gun has a capacity to fire up more 1,000 rounds per minute means that boasts with very high rate of fire. But in-game the rate of fire is mediocre presumably because it's a portable weapon rather than fixed position. Also by tweaking the bolt, the buffer and booster, you can change the fire rate.
- Even though there is a bipod for use, the character holds the barrel shroud instead. However, repeated firing would cause the barrel shroud to be dangerously hot to hold in real life.
- MG3 features a mounted Machine Gun Anti Aircraft Sight.
