Lightning Rod is a kind of Melee weapon featured in CrossFire.
Description
A lighting rod with its electrode oxidated, used as melee weapon, its sharp head and long shaft make it extremely powerful to use.
Overview
It's a simple metal spear with a sharp head, allows player kill other by stab (LMB) and heavy stab (RMB).
In Defense Mode, players can obtain it via Fuel Shop, and this weapon will emit a lightning to kill Zombies and can deal massive damage to bosses in Battleship map.

Trivia
- Lightning Rod, like SWAT-Camo, is only obtainable by opening a Silver box upon finishing a match on Battleship (Permanent variant). However, upon its release in CF Vietnam, Lightning Rod (Permanent) was mistakenly put into a droppable Silver Box, replacing M1216 Perfect Silver (3d) - as a result, it's way too easy to obtain this weapon permanently by playing Battleship map. This was quietly fixed the next day following an unscheduled maintenance, but everyone who already won it still get to keep their prize.
