The K-2 is the assault rifle successor to the K1A and is a highly accurate rifle. It has minimal recoil, decent power and slow rate of fire - the exact opposite of the K1A. Power loss over range is low, adding to its usefulness in long range. The K-2 is available for 40,000 GP in CF Z8 and CF EU and stays permanent.
The K-2 is heavier than the K1A, but average when compared to other rifles.
Maps such as Train, Mexico, Columbia and Monaco use the K-2's power efficiently. It performs poorly at small maps and during Ghost Mode and does not reach its full potential in medium maps.
Tactics
- Use it at medium to long range; close range is not its strength.
- Spray at close range, burst at medium to long ranges.
Version Differences
- CF Vietnam: Available from black market GP crates. It is hard to win the K-2 permanently, because the crate contains other K-2 prizes (30 days, 7 days, 3 days, 1 day) - most of the time if you see it, it is just for one day. Rank requirement: Staff Sergeant.
- CF Philippines: Available in the Item Shop for 31,000 GP. The rank requirement is Corporal.
