Items

Items are functional items players can use during a game to gain an advantage over other players or benefit themselves. Most items can be purchased from Item Shop, though some can only be obtained via specific events and reward system.

NOTE: Not all of the items listed here are available in all Crossfire versions. Some may be absent for several reasons.

Fast Respawn (4s)		Set respawn time in TDM, FFA, Escape Mode, and Shadow Mode (Infection) to 4 seconds. CF Vietnam only.
Fast Respawn (7s)		Set respawn time in TDM, FFA, Escape Mode and Shadow Mode (Infection) 7 seconds. CF Vietnam and Japan only.
C4 Kit		Fast setup / bomb defuse (-2 seconds).
Grenade Bag		Allows 3 basic grenade types (A, B, and C) to be equipped in one bag. S&D, Ghost, and MM/HM/HMX only.
Fall Damage Reduce		Reduce fall damage when falling from a great height. Stackable with skilled characters.
Foot Step Noise Down		Reduce footstep sound. Only applied to BL side in Ghost Mode.
Breath Noise Down		Reduce breath noise. Only applied to BL side in Ghost Mode.
Ghost Kit		Turns players invisible when playing Ghost Mode (BL side). CF Japan only.
IGN Color Changer		Change players' IGN color.
Chat Text Color Changer		Change players' chat text color.
EXP Plus		50% bonus EXP.
GP Plus		100% bonus GP.
Hosting Permit [Standard]		A permit to organize a Round of 8 tournament.
Extra Mission Ticket		Allow players to set up an extra mission. Now unavailable and unusable after the New Mission System update.
Badge Plus		Double players' results for faster badge upgrading. Does not apply to Profile result.
Buddy Gift Box		Receive random prizes upon opening. Given to players after receiving nomination via Buddy Referral System.
Lucky Box		Receive random GPs upon purchasing (max 60.000). Acts as EXP plus 50% card for 1 day. CF Vietnam only.
Megaphone		Send a PA to all players on the same channel.
Super Megaphone		Send a PA to all players on the same server.
Pistol Ammo Magazine		+1 ammo magazine for all Pistols in the bag. Stackable with character items.
Shotgun Ammo Magazine		+1 ammo magazine for all Shotguns in the bag. Stackable with character items.
SMG Ammo Magazine		+1 ammo magazine for all SMGs in the bag. Stackable with character items.
Rifle Ammo Magazine		+1 ammo magazine for all Assault Rifles in the bag. Stackable with character items.
Sniper Ammo Magazine		+1 ammo magazine for all Sniper Rifles in the bag. Stackable with character items.

Call Sign Change		Allows players to change their In-Game-Name (IGN). Available as the in-game item in CF Philippines.
Gold Box		Special Mission System prize. Can be saved and open at any time.
Saturday Box		Attendance System reward for logging in on Saturday (once per week). Can be saved and open at any time.
Sunday Box		Attendance System reward for logging in on Sunday (once per week). Can be saved and open at any time.
Big Reward Box		Attendance System reward for logging in 28 days. Can be saved and open at any time.
EXP Bonus (VIP)		10% EXP Bonus (1 day). Available in all servers with the upgraded VVIP System.
Effect Renewal		Renew Rings' effect. Can be used one by one or 10 at once.
Upgrade Material Box		Used to upgrade Royal Guard weapons.
Free Capsule Ticket		Can be used to spin any cash crate in the Black Market for free.
Chat Text Color Changer-Advanced		The advanced version of the Chat Text Color Changer item now allows gradient and outline stroke for chat text.
IGN Color Changer-Advanced		The advanced version of the IGN Color Changer item now allows gradient and outline stroke for IGN / Call sign.
VVIP Upgrade Ticket		Upgrade one of the three EXP/GP bonuses perk from certain VVIP weapons (up to 10 levels). MP item.
VVIP Perk Ticket		Change the special perk on certain VVIP weapons after it's been fully upgraded. Cash item.
Seal Box Key		Key for opening box from Trade System.

Some other functional items are not found in the Item tab but the Character tab and must be worn on to take effect. This table only lists functional items, thus cosmetics one is unaccounted for.

Powered Radio with Ammo		Extra Rifle and Pistol magazine. 10% bonus EXP. The bonus effect does not stack with other functional items.
Anti Smoke and Flashbang Sunglasses		Smoke and Flash reduction. 10% bonus EXP. The bonus effect does not stack with other functional items. Stackable with the character's special skill (Flash only).
Bulletproof Shield		Backpack equipment that includes Bulletproof Vest and Bulletproof Helmet for the player.
Hoverboard-Gold		Replaces the default Hoverboard in the Death Rally map.
Motorbike		Replaces the default Hoverboard in the Death Rally map.

Killmark		Replace the default mark display after scoring a kill or doing an objective in a match.
Sprays		Functional item that can be used on hard objects (press T).
NameCards		Change backgrounds for players' name which are shown in the lobby, channel or room and at the scoreboard.
Scruples		Use to craft weapons, characters or items (temporary and permanent).
Ring		Equip on the character's unpreferred hand for various in-game perks.
Band		Equip on the character's unpreferred hand for various in-game perks.
Doll		Decoration item that can be attached on weapons.
Visual Effect		Decoration item that can be attached on weapons.
Hit Effect		Decoration item that can be displayed when hitting the enemies with any weapon.
Voice Effect		Add-on item that can tweak the character's voice pack.
Bag Extension		Fuctional item that includes Backpack 3 to 7.
Backpacks		Seven additional sets of bags.
2nd Grenade Expansion Slot		Allows 3 basic grenade types (A, B, and C) to be equipped in one bag for the Backpacks' expansion.
Reality Alternate Sound		The item features realistic sounds of the weapon in real life when drawing/reloading, shooting, bolt-cycling, or performing the secondary attack.

Name	Icon	Description
Nano Hook		A melee weapon that every mutant can use for a faster attack and much longer reach and gives out double Evolution points. It comes with some variants.
Mutation Magazine		Soldiers with this item give half of their currently equipped weapons reserves additionally with the default ammunition plus Ammo Mag (If equipped).
Mutation Jacket		A special jacket that gives soldiers an additional shot before getting infected. Also, give extra Armor points to mutants.
Reduce Knockback		An item that reduces the stun and knockback effects on mutants, but they might have a hard time to escape.
Soul Stone		Can be opened for various prizes. Awaken by playing Mutation Mode or spend cashpoints.

Small HypoMed		Restore 20 HP upon use. Max carried per match is 999.
Large HypoMed		Restore 60 HP upon use. Max carried per match is 999.
Revive Token		Allow players to revive themselves or teammates once they run out of default lives. Max is 999.
Intrusion Coins		Allow players to enter a room that progressed beyond join-able waves. Only obtainable via Fever System. Max is 999.
ZM Bag Change		Allows players to switch bags anytime anywhere they want during Assault match, but players cannot drop their weapons.
Reward Crates		Grant players random prizes within the crate. Received after beating Zombie Mode matches and meet the point/boss token requirement.
Gold Tickets		Allows players to open Gold Boxes upon completion of a Defense Mode match.
Ammo Belt		Grants infinite reverse ammo for equipped weapons (not applied to turret guns). Unusable in Elite PVE Mode.
Gold Coin		Used to craft weapons and sentry gun gold (Item Combination System).
Sentry Gun-Gold		Used to enhance Sentry Gun's levels in Shipyard (level 5) and Battleship (level 7). Can be enabled/disabled.
Blueprints		Used in combination with Gold Coins to exchange for temporary weapons.
Blueprint Cards		Can be used with Gold Coins to exchange for preset Blueprints in Defense Mode.
Default Skill Reset		Reset players' Default skills with Skill points in Trial Challenge Mode.
Active Skill Reset		Reset players' Active skills with Skill points in Trial Challenge Mode.
Drone-Aero		A stronger variant of the Drone which is an instantly level-7 upgrade in Trial Challenge Mode.
Drone-Gold		Premium Drone variant, instant level-7 upgrade and heal 4 HP/s whenever the player's HP isn't full in Trial Challenge Mode.
Healing Flag-Gold		Premium Healing Flag, instant level-7 upgrade and heal 10 HP/s in Trial Challenge Mode.
Artifacts		Enhance the player's skill and critical damage rates in Boss Annihilator.
Ride Cloud		Assist movement speed in Adventure Mode. It comes with three variants.

Gem Removal Coupon		Allow players to remove gems added to any class card.
Enhance Stabilizer		Greatly increase the success rate for card enhancing and prevent any level loss upon failed to enhance.

Breath Reduce		Reduce breathes sounds when playing on Shadow's side.
Footstep Reduce		Reduce footsteps sounds when playing on Shadow's side.
Lighter		Emit a lighter opening sound, primary use is unknown.
Whistle		Shadow may whistle for help using this item.
Breath Increase		Increase Shadow's breathes sound when playing as Global Risk.
Footstep Increase		Increase Shadow's footsteps sound when playing as Global Risk.
Weapon Device		Affects the soldier's gauge bar, increases the gauge's drain.
Sounds Device		A sound equalizer which allows to control weapons and environmental sounds volume. Available for both teams.

Trivia

• Most of the items are one-usage only, so if players happen to own two or more, only one can be activated - once it's set to active, the other one immediately become inactive.
• Because of the game's age, SmileGate and Tencent havea habit of adding a new index for old items instead of reusing the older one - this happens when new modes arrive with prizes that require common items to be used like Armors, Flash guard, Fall damage reduce, etc... This results in the items NOT stacking with players' one if they buy it from Item Shop since the two items are separated in the index.
  • Another move that can only be described money-grabbing is that lots of items won't even stack together, creating separate pieces in players' storage. This means it's impossible to collect free items long-term - instead of 1 armor with 70-day usage, players will get 10 armors with 7-day usage each. This, however, can also be advantageous for players for functional items that combine effect (such as ammo mags) - example: When players have 4 Shotgun Ammo Mag with 7-day usage each, all of them can be stacked and will gain 4 extra mags in-game rather than just 1, which can be devastating especially when boosted up with Mutation Ammo Mag.
• Exclusive to CF China, many items have the permanent variant like Bulletproof Helmet/Vest, Rifle Ammo Mag, Powered Radio with Ammo, Grenade Bag,.. and all of them can be obtained from various events for free, making F2P players having more ease playing the game.
