Overview[]
The M231 is an assault rifle fed with 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition with 30 rounds per magazine. It has very fast firing rate, high recoil, and decent accuracy, but suffer from a notable weak firepower comparing to most other assault rifles, due to its compact design. This gun has a fairly short draw / reload speed, although the fast firing rate means ammo will run dry very easily. It's best to spray 'n pray since the M231 requires 2-3 Headshots to kill armored opponents, so taking time aiming might not be very useful.

Trivia[]
- The M231 Firing Port Weapon (FPW) is an adapted version of the M16 assault rifle for firing from ports on the M2/M3 Bradley AFV.
- This is heavily based on the G&P CQB M4 airsoft gun with the company's "Tank" front set installed, than the actual M231 FPW.
- The real M231 uses a 16-inch carbine length barrel and does not come in with any attachment points, as this gun was not meant to be used outside of the M2 Bradley.
- In real-life, the M231 is even less reliable than a full-sized M16. It jams easily and is known to break the bolt without warning. It is not recommend for soldiers to use the weapon outside the vehicle, unless in an emergency.
