Furious Kick is a special perk available for most VVIP Characters (except Ultimatum, Heirs, Sicarios, Wild West, Desperado, WoLF, Roxana, Guan Xiaoyu) and Arch-Honorary.

Overview[]

This attack works similarly to the Spin Kick from Zombie Mode maps (notably Devastated City) - pressing E will perform a round-house kick that damages the nearby opponent. Different than Spin Kick (which is performed by characters spinning their leg from left-to-right), the Furious Kick is performed by lifting the leg from right to up-front, suggesting it as a round-house kick rather than a spin kick, thus making Furious Kick an easy weapon to head-shot enemies.

When executing a Furious Kick, players can see the aura appear from the character's leg, such as yellow and orange aura-kicking color, just like the Spin Kick. Exclusive to Sisterhood, however, she has blue aura-kicking color.

Furious Kick is as powerful as the default Knife's secondary attack, requiring two body kicks to kill or one to the head. Furious Kick can be performed while jumping, but cannot be performed when crouching, bunny-jump, drawing weapon, bolt-cycling sniper rifles or reloading weapons (CF China only).

Trivia[]

  • Furious Kick is one of the "banned" weapons in CF Vietnam. If the player defeats others by Furious Kick too many times or even once, they'll try to kick the player out, especially in Free for All Mode or any similar mode that can kick any player.
  • In CF Vietnam and CF Brazil, the Special forms of The Fates, Switcher and Subject Alpha when used in normal modes still can perform Furious Kick; however, they don't have their own Furious Kick's HUD so the BL and GR's ones are shared instead (based on the player's side).

  • There has been an ongoing issue regarding Furious Kick's damage lag, as sometimes landing a few kicks doesn't seem to damage an opponent at all. This is presumably due to Furious Kick being an accessory rather than a weapon, so it will be very sensitive to Ping status (as it takes some time for the attack to transfer from player characters to the opponents due to animation syncing).
  • Due to its natural advantage against other melee players, Furious Kick has lowered damage dealing and requires players to be headshot experts to ensure a 1-hit kill. It's best used as a support weapon when equipping low damage dealing melee, such as Nunchaku so players can finish off any opponents they failed to kill with a secondary attack.
    • The same method can be used when doing a jump-attack - simply do a running jump at your opponent and kick him while in mid-air, which will reduce him to 10 HP (or if you are lucky enough an instant kill). If he survives, you can easily give him another kick or a quick slash from your melee.
  • The HUD and Kill Icon for Furious Kick depicts a man kicking with his left leg, while the character in-game performs a Furious Kick with right leg.
  • Furious Kick cannot be performed if the character faces any objects which interactively using the "E" key such as the mounted rifles in Logistics Center, C4 that has been planted (if the player plays as Global Risk).
  • Nymphs and Runaways use the normal form (BL, GR) in Mutation Mode and variants but the Furious Kick is disable. This is probably because it shares the same E key - the ability to become special Heroic characters in Mutation Mode's variants, and might confuse the system if players can perform Furious Kick.
    • This does not happen to Ultimatum as she can use her Flower Attack in those said modes. This perk can't be performed when the ability to become the Hero is available, as its icon will be colored gray, however.
  • Strangely enough, even though Furious Kick is a melee attack and shows a melee killmark, it uses a normal star kill icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • The Furious Kick's HUD is inconsistent since they might either be close or far. This happens to various weapons and depends on the distance the characters' hands holding the weapon.
  • Uniquely, similar to the announcement for winning a Black Market prize, killing an opponent using Furious Kick will also automatically announce a message "[Player Name] has kicked [Opponent Name] with a Furious Kick" (terms vary in different versions) to other players in the same room. It is unknown if this is intentionally featured to make fun with other players or not.
  • In CF Vietnam, when you use Laser Dagger, the laser blade will disappear if you use secondary attack and the Furious Kick at the same time. The blade itself won't appear when you use primary attack, it will only appear again when the secondary attack is used. This has been addressed.
  • Sisterhood's Furious Kick HUD, killmark, and HUD icon are uniquely separated from previous characters since her kick effect is colored blue instead of red/orange.

  • Furious Kick enabled Sniper Rifles to fire extremely fast, as the kick skips the bolt cycling animation and unzoom the scope, ready to be fired right away. Initially, this was done by LMB + E, but later patches forbid the kick to be performed during bolt cycling animation. The alternate solution is LMB + R + E (reload then kick), which is a bit slower but still very fast. Players can also perform in Shotgun which skips pump-action animation the same as from sniper; if a player uses A-Bolt Shotgun can skip bolt cycling animation albeit without a scope since it's optical zoom.
    • However, to date CF China is the only server that has finally addressed this exploitation, which is forbidding the kick during reloading to ALL weapons. While this makes Sniper Rifle rooms more balanced, it also renders Furious Kick almost completely useless in normal rooms, given the fact that players mostly rely on it if they run out of ammo during CQB - having to switch other weapons to kick costs too much time and they will more than likely be killed beforehand. The real good use for Furious Kick is now strictly limited only to Melee Only rooms.
      • This fix has also affected characters without Furious Kick, however. When the last ammo of the sniper has been shot (from 1 to 0) or players have shot a bullet, the weapon needs to be bolted completely before reloading regardless of the characters players are using. This somehow consumes players' time to reload the sniper when they have run out of ammo.
    • In other CF versions, this issue is only fixed for newly-released sniper rifles, as older ones can still performs the mentioned bug.
  • The second Furious Kick exploitation enabled players to spam-kick freely by performing a brief crouch (tap CTRL) and kicking (tap E) at the same time. Although it's a bit hard to master, this technique gives players many extra attacks to deal with multiple opponents around them. Players are also able to move while doing this kick as well (by also holding any other moving key like W while doing the trick).
    • This also can be used to bypass/skip melee weapons' secondary attack delaying animation as well. As soon as the weapon has completed executing its RMB attack, quickly tap CTRL and E and the melee is now able to execute its secondary attack again. This trick is very devastated when combined with Bladed Knuckles or Dragon Blade.
    • CF China and CF Vietnam has addressed this exploitation by deactivating CTRL while performing Furious Kick, which means players will be standing still to kick rigidly.
  • Furious Kick, as with other melee weapons, has range and angle value. Cheaters in the past abused this by increasing the range and angle value to huge number, and for an unknown reason, it didn't trigger the error code, causing havoc to all PvP modes. This became even worse when Tencent gave all players free temporary Nymphs character in CF China during the time this hack appeared, so cheaters can use dummy accounts to abuse this hack even more. Therefore, developers quickly patched this, making those faraway kicks deal 0 damage (except in single AI Bot Mode).
