- This is the very first accessible Knife in CF Vietnam following the 2010 incident that forced VTC to remove the default Knife. It went unnoticed by players, being event prize exclusive, until a Halloween event on Oct 29th, 2011 that granted everyone one (1d). The Knife Stripe was then offered in Best Buy webmall for a period of time, before coming to Item Shop in a Stripe Weapon Set along with M4A1, AWM, and DE Stripe. Its role was eventually fulfilled by Knife Black.
- In CF Vietnam, Knife Stripe lacks all attack sound effects when first revealed, due to error coding. It was fixed in several patches later.
