Prime Alternate Skin

Prime Alternate Skin is a weapon item for VVIP weapons featured in CrossFire.

Overview[]

As its name suggests, it is similar to Prime WS that the skin features blue (and white) textures with fire blazing effect on the design when attached to VVIP weapons. The item simply changes the default weapons' skins and still retains whatever perks the weapons features.

Weapon List[]

Each weapon has its own skin items although they share a similar design and these items can be detached according to players' choice in the VVIP Customization. So far, these are VVIP weapons that have this weapon skin:

Desert Eagle-Born Beast

M4A1-S Beast

M4A1-S Transformers

Trivia[]

The skin's ItemIcon is taken from M4A1-S Beast.
The skin's motif is obviously inspired by Optimus Prime, a famous character in Transformers - an American science fiction action film; however, CF China named this weapon skin as Energy Core (能量核心) instead of Prime. Presumably, it is to avoid copyright.
Some of the weapons mentioned on the list above later released as a separate weapon (like the Noble Gold and Punk weapons) on the Prime WS but the VVIP perks has removed.
- Some examples are AK47-Knife Transformers, Desert Eagle-Born Beast, M4A1-S Transformers, AWM-Infernal Dragon.
Barrett M82A1-Iron Shark's crosshair in CFPH becomes a prime skin after the release of Limpid and Goldish. It hasn't been fixed yet.
