Bio Grenade is special type of Grenade that deals massive damage on Mutants featured in Crossfire.

Overview[]

Bio Grenades are special grenades that can only be used in Mutation Mode (and variants) for attacking mutants with high massive damage. It can deal up to 500-1000 damage to mutants. It features a black skin with orange stripes at the top and bottom with a skull at the center while also receiving a unique explosion sound and effect.

In all CrossFire versions, Bio Grenade can be obtained by Supply Crates in Mutation Mode & variants (except CF Vietnam) or it can be purchased in the Item Shop.

Trivia[]

This weapon can be considered as the very first Anti-Mutant weapon, though it's not been acknowledged in-game. Currently, it's the only grenade that's only usable in Mutation Mode and variants.
This grenade's damage varies on what mutant it hits, but takes a considerable amount of health out of the mutants, up to a max of 1000.
- In HMX variants, the damage gets buffed and it is very useful to wipe out multiple mutants in the right proximity. Any mutants caught on an explosion blast, weak and low HP mutants get killed; higher evolved mutants are more likely to survive depending on the amount of HP it has.
In CF Vietnam, due to a client glitch, this grenade cannot be used in Hero Mode. If a player equip it, it simply won't be available when it start the match.
Also in CF Vietnam, players can't pick up this grenade from Supply Box in Mutation Mode & variants, as the Grenade-Heart is in its place instead. This has complained about many times by players because the Heart Grenade is simply ridiculous and useless in Mutation Mode.
In CF China, there was a glitch in that players can use this grenade in normal modes. It has been fixed.
