Ares is a male character in CrossFire. He is the normal version of the Hero in the Hero Mode and Mutant Escape Mode.

Overview[]

He looks exactly the same as Hero in the Hero Mode, but his shirt got changed to light green on the BL side while the GR side is simply a recolored version with blue color along with the added of covered sleeves, and his beret is also recolored with blue camo as well. The BL side shares the same green gloves with his original counterpart while the GR side is recolored with blue color along with the blue camo sleeves.

Version Differences[]

CF China: This character has two versions. The normal version features the Fall Damage Reduction and Immunity to self/teammate's grenade, while the X version can hold up to 2 changeable skills in the Character Upgrade System.
CF West: Fall Damage Reduction and Immunity to self/teammate's grenade.
CF Brazil and CF Vietnam: The character doesn't feature any abilities.

Trivia[]

Interestingly enough, the covered blue camo sleeves on the GR side of this character is actually reused from Flying Tigers but with dark-blue color.
In CF Vietnam, on the July 2020 update and to celebrate the server transition, this character can be obtained permanently for free after playing 7 hours in the game. This was the only way to obtain this character, until he was sold as Black Market prize only in November 5th.
