AS Val

AS Val is an assault rifle that is featured in CrossFire.

Overview[]

AS Val (Avtomat Special'nyj Val) is a Russian assault rifle with an integrated suppressor. It was developed during the late 1980s by TsNIITochMash, and fed with heavy subsonic 9x39mm bullets. This weapon was based from its sister weapon, the VSS Vintorez. It uses a detachable box magazine and is able to hold 20 rounds.

This weapon has a good firepower, high accuracy, medium-fast firing speed, and quick reloading speed.

Trivia[]

Both AS Val and SR-3M are in the same weapon family, which is the VSS Vintorez's weapon family. Both are Assault Rifles and SR-3M is actually based on AS Val.
- However in CF, SR-3M is mistakenly classified as SMG while AS Val is correctly classified as Assault Rifle.
The AS Val's animation is same with the 9A-91.
This gun is somewhat hard to obtain since it only has one slot (3 days) in the prize pool, and most of the time a Silver box will give you equipment's or coins instead of this gun. Thus, farming is required to obtain this gun.
