The FAMAS (Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne) is a fast and light bullpup assault rifle. Although the FAMAS features a 3 round burst fire mode, players are not recommended to utilize it because manually sqeezing off a burst of 3 rounds via a short automatic blast will have the same accuracy as a burst, while allowing the player to immediatly fire again without the delay the comes with the burst-fire mode. The FAMAS, unlike other rifles, has a 25 round clip, making it somewhat impractical for extended combat.

The FAMAS is available for 42000 GP at the Sergeant rank, but sees little action due to the fact that most players will abandon the FAMAS in favor of more accurate and powerful rifles with larger clip sizes. However, the FAMAS, like any other rifle, is versatile and useful in most combat situations. It should be noted that the three round burst, similar to the XM8 Adv burst, is ideal at mid to far distances as the bullet placement allows for multiple shots to hit, this can be extremely useful when camping, If aimed right, this 3-round burst can kill an enemy instantly.
A variant was added recently. The FAMAS-Camo has +5 bullets bring its ammo capacity to 30/90. It can be rented for 2200 ZP for 7 days.
