CF Pass

CF Pass is a mission system available in CrossFire. It is the spiritual successor to Battle Pass, now intergrated into CrossFire to take full advantage of seamless progressions and rewards.

Overview[]

CF Pass operates on a seasonal basis, with each season lasting about 8-10 weeks to ensure all players can collect all offered prizes. In each season, there are a total of 100 CF Pass levels that players must clear in order to claim the associated prize(s) and gain Coins to use in the CF Pass Shop. Additionally, players can opt to "fast pass" by purchasing levels directly, in which case they can immediately claims all prizes day-1 if they so desire.

There are no CF Pass level limits: Once level 100 is reached, players can continue to participate and finish daily / weekly missions to level up their CF Pass, although no further rewards are offered other than Gold Coins for each level. Since many of the top tier merchandise in the Gold Coin Shops require very high CF Pass level, players will need to purchase additional level unlocks if they wish to buy these merch directly. With a stock CF Pass purchase plus all missions completed every day during the season, normal players can reach about Level 140 - Level 160.

All Chameleon Backpack items come with IGN & Chat color changing function which can be configured once equipped on the character. They are packed with all basic color options as well as one exclusive color.

The reward progression features a total of 3 Tiers (A, B, C), each requires a set number of CF Pass Level to unlock (1-30, 31-60 and 61+). In each tier, there are two reward pools: Premium and General. All players have access to the General rewards, which they can spend Gold Coins to purchase, while the Premium rewards require purchasing CF Pass to access, which also cost Gold Coins to purchase.

After reaching level 61, players will have access to all Tier reward merchandises, and they must all be obtained in order to unlock the Jackpot reward. To aid Premium Pass players in obtaining all 32 items, General rewards will be free, and if they've already purchased some using Gold Coins prior to buying Premium Pass, they'll get refunded that amount to spend on other goodies.

Each level requires 200 points to clear, which players can achieve by partaking in Daily or Weekly Missions. Each day, there are three missions that provides points to level up, and there are 4 weekly missions in each week. Weekly missions range from PVP, Mutation Modes and Zombie Modes, and players can opt to reroll them should they deem the offered missions too hard to complete. One free reroll is provided each week, and players can also customize the mission groups to ensure they only get missions from the modes they prefer.

Additionally, a Lucky Mission can be triggered once per day, when players are undertaking other missions. If triggered, the Lucky Mission will show up in-match, which can be checked by holding Alt. Lucky Mission provides an additional 125 points.

Starting from the Tropical Ocean season, Coin Missions are made available for players to earn extra Gold coins to spend in shop. There are six missions to complete, which earn 1 Gold Coin upon completion, and players can refresh the missions up to 3 times per week.

After obtaining all 33 CF Pass items, players will again access to the Bonus Reward Crate, where they can spend their remaining Gold Coins to try to win more goodies. There are a total of 15 items, of which about 9-10 are related to current CF Pass Season contents that players can win permanently.

The Bonus Reward Crate functions similar to VVIP Lucky Wheel: The amount of Gold Coins spent slowly increases as players win more and more prizes. Permanent items can be dismantled to get back some Gold Coins should players desire, but temporary items can only be collected. After spinning the crate 10 times, players gain access to 5 Resets, which they can use to renew the crate and attempt to win more items from the beginning.

The number of Gold Coins to be consumed are arranged accordingly:

CF Vietnam: 2, 2, 4, 6, 12, 18, 26, 42, 68, 71, 75, 80, 87, 97, 111 (699 in total)

Starting from the Tropical Ocean season, the Season Collection is made available to players who have been collecting CF Pass prizes in previous seasons. There are 3 Benefit Tiers that's unlocked when players own 60, 90 and up to 120 CF Pass items in their storage, which provides additional free rerolls, free mission change limits, free BP Coins per week and more invites.

If a players has unlocked at least Tier 1 reward, they are able to continue partaking in Coin Missions even after maxing out their Seasonal Limit. This is so should they manage to unlock Tier 2 or 3 before the season ends, they'll be able to collect their rewards immediately.

Aside from the main rewards and Bonus Reward Crates, leftover Gold Coins can also be used in the CF Pass Shop. This shop offers exclusive merchandise that can be exchanged during the season, however certain items are limited to Premium Pass players, and some valuable merch even require high level CF Pass.

Starting from Medusa Season onward, old season's rewards will be made available in the shop for veteran players to try to complete their collection should they not want to spend Gold Coins in the newly opened Bonus Reward crate.

All items acquired via CF Pass will be stored in its Storage Tab, with items and boxes in two separated tabs. Players can open CF Pass Box in a similar manner with VVIP Lucky Crate, and receive prizes in the Item tab to their Inventory. Some items can be dismantled for Gold or Silver Coins, which can the be used to purchase other goods in the CF Pass Shop.

One particular quirk of CF Pass Storage is that temporary items will have their period counting down as they sit there, but once players obtain them, the period will reset back to their original value (7 days or 30 days).

Trivia[]

CF China is the first version to release CF Pass (while other versions operate the Battle Pass instead), and thus it has the most CF Pass seasons, as the Disco season is counted as Season 3 instead of Season 1 (CF West, CF Brazil, CF Vietnam) or Season 2 (CF Philippines).
On March 9th, 2025, CF West ran into a server desync caused by the start of Daylight Savings that year. As a result, every time players would join/change server, it would reset the login mission for them; thus allowing them to rack up an insane amount of CF Pass level EXP and Gold Coins. This issue was fixed after a quick maintenance later that same day.
- On March 19th, 2025, Z8Games rolled back most levels and items that were obtained via this method and applied a temporary ban as well (from 3 to 93 days depending on the severity) to those who abused it greatly. The ban was eventually lifted after about one week due to massive backlash from players as this is also an error on CF West's end, however.
- Since the exploit was made possible due to an error on their end, they've decided to also compensate players with 30 Gold Coins, so long as they've logged in at least once between March 1st and 11th, 2025.
While the cost to use Bonus Reward Crate in CF Vietnam and CF China is 2x the base cost of VVIP Lucky Wheel, CF West and CF Brazil are the first two servers to actually adjust these to be of a much more reasonable increase, giving players chance to obtain all 15 prizes without having to buy any extra level. To balance this, the prize pool has been adjusted to contain less valuable permanent prizes.
- Following the update of Classic Season, CF Vietnam has adjusted the cost slightly, bringing the total Gold Coins required down to 699, which, while still massively high, is a bit more manageable to paid players. By purchasing 600 levels, (required to buy the highest tier merch in the shop), they will have just enough to open the whole crate.
