Article Overhaul (Updating)
Just updating some progress on the article overhauling as well as some new rules for you guys to keep in mind when updating articles:
- 1 Retiring Advantage / Disadvantage
- 2 Custom weapon variants
- 3 Non-Existent Weapons
- 4 Spelling format
- 5 Alias for Weapons and Characters
This section is too subjective and differs from server to server, so we're going to retire it completely. Admins and Mods will now remove this from all articles, and they shouldn't be added to new articles going forward.
Previously, we listed all skins and custom variants of all weapons under their stock variant, but as the list grows, it becomes harder and harder to track. So, stock weapons will now list only skins under the Variants section, all custom model are given a new section, …
BagIcon Templates for VVIP Weapons
Here are the BagIcon templates that should be added to the BagIcon of VVIP weapons displayed in the Item Shop. This has been the "tradition" of VVIP weapons on CrossFire Wiki because BagIcon images used to be extracted from .DTX format, but now we take images mostly from a specific folder instead; therefore, we have to add the class templates manually to the BagIcon.

Tick rate update for CrossFire?
Last month, in the grandfinal of CrossFire Pro League S22, Abner Chen - Publishing Producer of CrossFire, stated that CrossFire will have improvement of refresh rate (or tick rate) of the game server.
Currently in CF China, it's said that the server is still using old 8 tick rate system, which is the same since the release of the game without any improvements. Whereas in CrossFire HD, which is newer than original CrossFire, implements 60 tick rate system.
Chinese players are expecting original CrossFire to have the same tick rate as CrossFire HD, which is 60. But this could mean that the game experience will be very different compare to current state of the game. What do you guys think about this?

Dao Royal Zombie Ability
Hello!
Is it true that the Dao-Royal does not make players immune from damage anymore?
From what I see in CF West and CF Brazil, the immunity only works if you let the sword charge and you use it.
If you let the sword charge but not use it, the ability doesn't work.
Is this considered a bug?
Asking because some GMs here are saying it's intended, when i'm 100% sure it's not.

Best ZM Equipment
I was just wondering what the best ZM Equipment is as I never delve into the gamemode really.
My question is what the best weapons are, from best to worst. I know the Anti-Zombie category is a thing but it's really messy. I would like to know the best to worst disregarding VVIPs and Crate Weapons, only weapons that are earnable through the ZM Maps.
Another question is, are some Zombie Weapons specific in order to get the next tier? For example I always thought you use AA-12 Infection to obtain AK-47 Buster to get the M4A1-S Under Tech, to get the Holy Shotgun.
And finally, what's the best VVIP Character? I have Nymphs but I was just wondering if any outperform her Heal+Infin ammo combo.
