Assassin is a male mutant character in CrossFire, playable in Mutation Mode.
Oveview[]
This mutant seems to a small-sized stealthy assassin wielding his own Knife and it has the special ability to throw the Assassin Grenade, which sends out high pressure blast of air making the soldiers fly in different directions. He can move faster than any other mutants without the Speed Boost skill. Generally, this mutant is suitable for disillusioning soldiers and pushing them out of their camping positions.

Skill[]
Assassin's [G Skill] is the Assassin Grenade that can blast people through walls or even above/below its explosion range. If the soldiers are hiding in a place that the grenade can't get behind them, he can simply throw it above or below that position; however, his equipped Assassin Knife is superior that can be difficult to use, since it requires much more precise timing. It is s recommended that players equip the Nano Hook or similar items for easier attack.
Trivia[]
- The Assassin has a normal view heigh just like the other mutants, reguarding that it should have a lower view because of its real height.
- In CF Vietnam, Assassin is called Tia chớp đen (Black Lightning) based on his look, though the HUD still displays its name systemically.
- Due to its short height, it will be slightly harder to be hit by Heroes such as Commando. His HP is also higher than Xeno and Havoc in Berserk and Titan level, means that he can't be killed easily as well.
- Despite its tricky attacks, Assassin gains an incredibly fast striking speed when equipped with the Nano Hook or similar items. That, combining with the mutant's own agileness, high health point and short height, Assassin is an extremely deadly force to be reckoned with, being as dangerous as or even more than any special mutants such asXeno, Havoc or Maiden.
- CF Indonesia is the only version that offers this mutant character permanently from an event capsule.
